Scarred Earth Installation

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am an artist creating a remembrance installation during November at Holy Trinity Parish Church, Hull, and Beverley Minster, (both in Yorkshire, England). I wondered if it would be possible for someone to send me a close up photograph of the earth from a memorial or conflict site.

The land is what people fight over and upon!

I want to try and collect as many earth/soil images from sites all over the world to show the many hundreds of conflicts past and present. I would have liked to visit all these battle sites, and I have visited the nearer ones, but as you can imagine the costs are prohibitive.
